World Cyber Games have along with Peliliiga announced a qualifier which will be held at The Gathering this easter.

The Gathering is the world's second largest LAN event, held each easter in Hamar, Norway. The massive event with over 5.000 gamers will kick off on the 31st of March, lasting till the 4th of April.

WCG has teamed up with Peliliiga and together will they be organizing the national finals at The Gathering. The winning team will be given a spot for the World Cyber Games Nordic Championship later this year. Hence the name, there is reason to believe that similar playoffs for the Nordic Championship will be held in more Nordic countries, although none have been announced up to this date.

On another note, the winners of the Tekken 6 and TrackMania Nations Forever tournaments will be given a direct entry into the WCG Grand Finals taking place in Los Angeles, California between the 29th of September to the 3rd of October.

Stay locked to our website as we will be giving you the latest updates on the WCG and the Nordic Championship.

TyLoo.raw has changed two players in their line-up.

11:25 PM by Ichigo · 0 comments

Chinese community site, zotob.org has reported that TyLoo.raw has changed two players in their line-up. Yi 'zy' Zhou and Yunlong 'BB' Wang have been struggling to find the motivation to continue and in the end could not overcome this struggle, thus leaving the team.

Xue 'xiaoe' Ye and Wang 'prom1se' Nan have stepped in to replace the duo. The first is considered as a rising talent in the Chinese scene, but has not yet proved himself. Nan on the other hand is known for playing alongside some of his new team-mates under the wNv ranks.

This renewed line-up will definitely be looking to do better than the old one, which came fourth at the Arbalet Asia Cup most recently, but this won't be an easy task.

  • Biaohong 'rita' Huan
  • Bin 'Savage' Liu
  • Jiang 'Virgo' Qian
  • Wang 'prom1se' Nan
  • Xue 'xiaoe' Ye

We've all followed the action either online or directly on-site from the World Finals in Hannover, Germany. You all remember its highlights but here's a small reminder of the CS Grand Final which brought both highs and lows for our Swedish boys. The VoD grand finals for all three competitive game titles are now available from ESL.

If you want to follow once again the CS Grand Final, below you have an excellent chance which includes all two and something hours of the FnaticMSI.CS versus NaVi clash. FnaticMSI didn't come on top this time around, yet their presence in the last match of the tournament proves they've still got momentum going. Without further ado, click 'play' below and enjoy.
